Information we collect

When you submit a request, we collect your email, business or request name, optional website, request type and the details you provide. The hosting service may process IP addresses, browser information and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. Public listings contain business information from linked public sources and reviewed submissions. Business accounts use Supabase authentication with email/password or Google sign-in when connected. We receive account identifiers, email and confirmation status. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider. Owner administration uses separate ChatGPT authentication. We also retain submitted listing drafts, ownership-verification statements, review notes, advertising content and payment references.

How information is used

We use submissions to review listings, verify ownership requests, correct information, handle privacy requests and respond to inquiries. Technical information supports site operation and security. Submission contact emails are not displayed on public listings.

Sharing and service providers

Site hosting, database and authentication providers process information as needed to operate these services. We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. We do not sell submission contact details or use them for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not forward your request to a groomer as a customer message.

Cookies and payments

We have not added advertising trackers or third-party analytics to the directory. Hosting and authentication services may use cookies or similar technology for security and sign-in. When payment processing is connected, Stripe processes advertising payments and receives the purchaser’s email and transaction details. We store payment references and payment status, but do not receive full card details. Google may process information under its own policy when you choose Google sign-in.

Retention and security

We retain information as needed to review requests, maintain accurate listings, handle disputes and meet legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the request and applicable requirements. Administrative review is restricted to the site owner; signed-in businesses can access their own dashboard records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; please do not submit sensitive identity, financial or pet health information.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing us or choosing “Privacy request” on the request form. We may ask for limited information to verify your request. Applicable law may provide additional rights, subject to its conditions and exceptions; this policy does not limit those rights. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Children and external sites

The directory is intended for adults arranging pet care and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information. Provider websites have their own privacy practices and are outside our control.
