Mobile van vs. in-home grooming: what to ask
A mobile van visit takes place in a fitted vehicle; an in-home visit takes place inside your home. Confirm the format before booking.

Where does the appointment happen?
With a van service, the grooming space is inside the vehicle. An in-home provider uses space in your home. Some booking marketplaces list both formats, so check the individual service rather than relying on the word “mobile.”
What space or utilities are needed?
Ask van providers about parking, vehicle clearance and any utility requirements. Ask in-home providers what room, working surface, water access and cleanup arrangements are needed. Requirements differ by business.
Who performs the service?
Ask who will attend, whether the person accepts your pet species and the service you requested, and how to contact them. A marketplace booking and a direct business booking may have different support and cancellation processes.
How should I choose?
Compare the actual setup, pet acceptance, included services and total quote. Choose a format that works with your home and access arrangements. Do not assume either format automatically includes a particular package or guarantees a better experience.
