Base rate by service
Bath-only is the cheapest option. Full groom includes bath, haircut, nails, and ear cleaning. Breed-specific styling or show cuts cost more than a standard trim.
Size and weight tiers
Most groomers price by weight: small (under 25 lb), medium (25–50 lb), large (50–75 lb), and extra-large (75+ lb). Some also factor in height and body structure.
Coat condition surcharges
De-matting, deshedding, and extra time for dirty or pelted coats are common add-ons. Be honest about your pet's coat when requesting a quote.
Travel fees
Some mobile groomers include travel in the base price; others charge per mile outside a core radius. Ask if your address incurs a travel surcharge.
Typical price ranges in major cities
Small dog bath: $45–$75. Small dog full groom: $75–$125. Large dog full groom: $125–$200+. Cat grooming: $80–$150+. These are illustrative ranges—always confirm with your provider.
