Confirm the appointment details
Check the arrival window, your full address and a contact number. Ask whether grooming happens in the van or inside your home, and who to contact if the provider is delayed.
Plan parking and building access
Ask the groomer what space and vehicle clearance they need, and whether they require water or electricity. Check building rules, gates and parking restrictions ahead of time rather than assuming the van can stop outside.
Tell the groomer what they need to know
Describe your pet’s past grooming experience, coat condition and handling preferences. Ask what information or records the provider requires. Agree on the requested service before the appointment begins.
Keep the handoff simple
Follow the provider’s instructions for bringing your pet to the appointment. Have the agreed access arrangements ready, keep your phone available and ask how pickup or the return handoff will work.
Before the next visit
Ask what services were completed, confirm the final payment and keep the provider’s contact details. Discuss any preferences you would like noted for the next appointment.
